Local Business Supports Those in the Community Facing Obstacles
The Warrior Factory Raising Funds for Breast Cancer
 
Rochester, New York: The Warrior Factory, an obstacle park and ninja warrior training facility, is teaming up with Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester (BCCR) to raise funds support those in the community touched by a diagnosis of breast cancer. Throughout the whole month of October, The Warrior Factory will be selling unique, specially designed Warrior Factory t-shirts with the hopes of raising over $2,500 for the BCCR.
 
“So many members of our community have been touched by breast cancer, we wanted to do something to give back,” says Bernard Birnbaum, Co-Founder and President of the Warrior Factory. “While The Warrior Factory motto is ‘Building Strength Through Obstacles’, we also hope to help provide support to those in our ninja community facing obstacles in their own lives,” he adds.
 
Kicking off on October 2nd, The Warrior Factory is hosting an Adult Open Gym from 8pm-10pm where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to BCCR.  During the event, attendees can honor loved ones by placing their name on a 15-foot warped wall, which will be up for the entire month.
 
According to BCCR, Breast Cancer is a serious health problem in New York State, with more than 12,000 new cases and 3,500 deaths reported each year. Breast cancer represents over 28% of all malignancies among women. It is the number one cause of death in women between the ages of 30 and 54.
