Camillus, N.Y. - A new fitness tenant is coming to Township 5 in Camillus.

The Warrior Factory will offer a facility focused on ninja-style obstacle courses such as those on shows like “American Ninja Warrior.” The brand got its start in the Rochester area in 2017 and is already franchising.

A location in the Buffalo area is also in the works.

The site at Township 5 in Camillus will be located next to Bad Axe Throwing and is planning to open in the fall.
 

The facility will offer open gym time and classes for all ages. The location will also offer packages for birthday parties, corporate and school events, team building activities and special events.

The brand was founded by Carl Fantauzzo and Bernard Birnbaum. Fantauzzo is a certified personal trainer and was a national finalist on "American Ninja Warrior." He competed on the show five times.

Birnbaum is president and CEO of the Birnbaum Cos., a commercial real estate firm and developer in the Rochester area.
